“As a young boy, growing up in rural Warsaw, Ohio, my dad once asked me and my brothers and sisters the following question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I can still see the look on my dad’s face as I told him I wanted to be a Pastor. Little did I know, the calling that was placed on my life at such a young age would come to fruition. I gave my life to Christ at the age of 16, but did not pursue my calling into the pastoral ministry until the age of 22, when I began teaching an Adult Sunday School class in the Church of God. It was while working for the State of Ohio during the years of 1986 – 1994, that I realized my need to fully accept the Will of the Lord in my life. I received my license and ordination through the Church of God, Anderson Indiana School of Ministry and accepted my first Pastorate in 1994 at the age of 29, to the Black Run Church of God in Frazeysburg, OH. Our congregation experienced tremendous growth, and began the process of relocating and the building of a new, larger facility. In the year of 2000, a new chapter of our lives was being written, and it was drawing me and my family back to our roots. Many of the holiness churches in the Warsaw area were struggling, and, seeing that, I knew that the Lord wanted us to begin a new work with “New Beginnings”. We opened the doors of New Beginnings Ministries as an independent and non-denominational Ministry, in March, 2001, with the desire to see holiness abound in our community. We have seen that through obedience to Him and His Word, you can stand for the Truth and God will bless it and it will grow.”
