MEET OUR TEAM
“As a young boy, growing up in rural Warsaw, Ohio, my dad once asked me and my brothers and sisters the following question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I can still see the look on my dad’s face as I told him I wanted to be a Pastor. Little did I know, the calling that was placed on my life at such a young age would come to fruition. I gave my life to Christ at the age of 16, but did not pursue my calling into the pastoral ministry until the age of 22, when I began teaching an Adult Sunday School class in the Church of God. It was while working for the State of Ohio during the years of 1986 – 1994, that I realized my need to fully accept the Will of the Lord in my life. I received my license and ordination through the Church of God, Anderson Indiana School of Ministry and accepted my first Pastorate in 1994 at the age of 29, to the Black Run Church of God in Frazeysburg, OH. Our congregation experienced tremendous growth, and began the process of relocating and the building of a new, larger facility. In the year of 2000, a new chapter of our lives was being written, and it was drawing me and my family back to our roots. Many of the holiness churches in the Warsaw area were struggling, and, seeing that, I knew that the Lord wanted us to begin a new work with “New Beginnings”. We opened the doors of New Beginnings Ministries as an independent and non-denominational Ministry, in March, 2001, with the desire to see holiness abound in our community. We have seen that through obedience to Him and His Word, you can stand for the Truth and God will bless it and it will grow.”
Pastor Kyle Dunfee and his wife have been faithfully filling the role of Youth Leaders at New Beginnings Ministries for many years - but as of January, 2018, Kyle also began his preaching ministry and stepped into the role of Pastor. He continues to encourage Christians to be salt and light in their sphere of influence; and calls the lost to repentance - so they can experience the love and grace only available through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Great Commission given to us by Christ in Matthew 28:19-20 states that we are to “go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you”. We therefore accept the mission that God has set before us to raise up a generation of Christians who are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and who are equipped to earnestly contend for the faith that has been handed down to us by our fathers.
